We took Zach for allergy testing the other day. It was more like a wrestling match when we got there. Our appointment was at 2:30 and we did not get out of the office until 5:30 because he fought so hard to not have the testing done. After I finally got Zach in a position where they could do the skin testing, we found out that he's allergic to quite a few varieties of trees, grasses, dust mites, cockroaches (I guess we won't be living in South Texas any time soon :) ) as well as beef, and different kinds of nuts. Our next course of action will be to decide whether or not we want him on allergy shots. Gotta look into all the side effects and such.

Why is it that I have nothing to write about, and all of a sudden there's a ton to write. I guess I'll be writing a little bit here and there over the next few days.
My first thing is a major pet peeve of mine. Why is it that people want to tell my kids what to do when I'm standing right there. Is it just me, or does that happen to anyone else? If it does, does it get on your nerves????????????
Next, my sister has finally finished my blog design. I like it very much. She has a business creating designs for people. Check out her website at http://www.designsbyrs.com/ . She does a great job, and it won't take as long to do yours as it did mine. :)

Bluegrass and Baroque???

I came across this CD today. It's a really odd mix of music, but I must say that I kind of like it.

Stair steps

A very late Christmas get together

My side of the family tried to get together for Christmas, but quite a few got deathly sick, and the rest of us didn't want it. We finally had our good times this last week.

My brother in law, Robert (in the bottom corner) brought his remote control helicopter. As you can see, everyone is intent on watching it.

My mom had this game where the kids were to have a race to see who could feed their adult the most water the fastest. Zach and my brother-in-law Robert won, but Spencer and Brittany had the most action. Other stars in the video are my brother Peter (in the glasses) with his little girl Moira and Sierra watching all the action.

Brittany got calmed down, but she still figured out a way to win. She's feeding Candace (Revka's oldest).

Cousins: Moira (Peter's girl), Alexandria (Revka's girl), Sierra (mine), and MacKenzie (another of Revka's)
