Sarah and Joe

My sister, Sarah has gone and gotten married. Can you believe she's that big now? Here's a picture of her and her husband Joe.
Our church had a send off for him before he heads back to Iraq.Umm, Sarah, don't women usually cut a cake?

He's such a ham. Pun intended.

Zach started summer baseball practice, but he thought he needed to wear his old uniform.

These twins on Zach's team were so "twinnish" it was almost creepy.

Imagination

This has nothing to do with imagination, but Addison woke up with a mohawk this morning.

The kids kept sneaking the TV on. After keeping careful watch, they have not had it on

like they were. For a few days they were at a total loss on how to play. Now, I'm happy to report that their imagination is working again. My first clue was when they took a horse outside and a rope and began lassoing trees and horses. Here they have made a "play" with my visuals and blankets in Zach and Addison's room. The only problem with imagination is the clean up afterward. I think we can deal with that though.

Now Isn't That Interesting.

I normally don't express my political views on here, but I just find this too interesting to pass up. When George Bush had the tax rebates sent out, people and the news media were saying that it wouldn't help, and that people would just use it to pay off bills. Now that the package seems to be working, little Miss Nancy wants to pass another tax rebate bill. hmmmmmm.

As a side note. If people pay off bills, doesn't that help them have more money to spend anyway??? That's kind of like the no drilling for oil argument. People say that it will take 10-20 years to even get to the point where we can refine oil. You know, they were making that argument 10-20 years ago. Just think, if we would have gone ahead and drilled back then, they wouldn't still be making the argument today, and we wouldn't be in quite such a bad fix with gas now. It seems like people want a microwave fix instead of a good old oven baked one.

Mom's 56th

I've been waiting to post anything up here because I had wanted to post this picture, but it was on another computer.

So, happy birthday, Mom. Hope it was good, and tell one of those grandkids to get their hands out of the CUPCAKES!

Yoga

The husband of one of my high school friends wrote a good article on yoga that you might like to read.

Jumping Addison

Spencer found these paintable things for $.44 a piece. The kids thought it was GREAT fun.

So, I get ready to put the kids in the vehicle to go somewhere when I hear a truck drive up. I look out the window and see this delivering a washer across the street. Didn't they ever learn not to park in front of someone's driveway?
